Recycled crushed, washed and dried whelk shells.

This bag size, containing approximately 12 litres, is ideal for garden borders, beds, rockeries or as an outdoor plant pot topper. The crushed shells can also be used as a drainage layer or added to soil for aeration.

It also works well as surface mulch and as a gentle, natural slug deterrent when a generous layer is added around the base of plants. This bag will give a generous coverage for approximately 1/2 a square metre and contains 3-4 times more crushed shells than our small hand-tied bags.
